OUR MISSION
Specializing in custom boots to fit a leg brace or prosthetic, Boots for Valor provides custom designed, specialty-made boots to men and women who have served our country with great valor.
Thanks to your donations through Gloria's Joy Foundation, these boots are provided with respect and honor at no charge to the recipient.
OUR HISTORY
Gloria’s Joy Foundation was established in honor of Gloria Joy Miers, a strong encourager with a big love for cowboy boots and veterans. Her brother, Lee, was killed in the line of duty in WWII which bred a powerful bond of gratitude with other service men and women. She was also the founder and producer of The Legends of Western Swing Music Festival, which has been entertaining and impacting fans of Bob Wills and Western Swing music for more than 3 decades. The Legends of Western Swing Music Festival will continue to be the main fundraising event for this 401(c)3 Foundation, giving us a new path to providing healing and smiles to the men and women who have served our country with such great valor. Gloria’s Joy Foundation is driven by her passion and desire to thank veterans with lower extremity impairments through custom made cowboy boots.
